As shown in the example above, if the number of occupants increases, the available cargo and luggage load capacity will be reduced by an amount equal to the additional weight of those occupants. In other words, if adding more occupants causes the combined weight of passengers and cargo to exceed the total load capacity, you must reduce the cargo and luggage accordingly.

When loading cargo on the roof luggage carrier (if equipped)

Observe the following precautions:

• Place the cargo so that its weight is distributed evenly between the front and rear axles.
• If loading long or wide cargo, ensure that it does not exceed the vehicle's overall length or width.
• Before driving, verify that the cargo is securely fastened to the roof luggage carrier.
• Be aware that loading cargo on the roof carrier raises the vehicle’s center of gravity. Avoid high speeds, sudden starts, sharp turns, abrupt braking, or any sudden maneuvers that could lead to loss of control or rollover, as this may result in serious injury or death.
• If driving long distances, on rough roads, or at high speeds, stop periodically to ensure the cargo remains securely in place.
• Do not exceed 165.3 lb (75 kg) of cargo weight on the roof luggage carrier.

When loading cargo on the roof luggage carrier (if equipped), be careful not to scratch the surface of the panoramic moon roof (if equipped).
