To help conserve battery power, the vehicle is equipped with an auto power off function. If the vehicle is left in accessory mode (ACC) for more than 20 minutes, or in ON mode (while the EV system is not running) for over 20 minutes with the gear in park (P), the power switch will automatically turn off. Although this feature reduces the drain on the 12-volt battery, it does not completely prevent battery discharge, so prolonged operation in ACC or ON mode is not recommended.
Notice:
To Prevent 12-Volt Battery Discharge
Managing the EV system’s power state is essential for both performance and longevity. By following these guidelines, you can help maintain optimal battery health and ensure reliable operation of your electric vehicle. This auto power off feature is a testament to advanced energy-saving technology that enhances overall driving efficiency while reducing the risk of unexpected battery drain.
In today’s competitive automotive market, paying attention to these details not only improves vehicle reliability but also contributes to a more sustainable and efficient driving experience. This innovative approach to battery management is one of the key benefits of modern electric vehicles.
