Performing the following operations while carrying the electronic key on your person will start the EV system or change its power switch modes.
Starting the EV System
When you have the electronic key with you, the vehicle automatically detects its presence and activates the EV system. This seamless process eliminates the need for manual key insertion and prepares the power switch for operation. As a result, your vehicle is ready to start quickly and efficiently, providing enhanced convenience and a smooth driving experience.
The parking brake indicator will come on.
and a message will be displayed
on the multi-information display.
If it is not displayed, the EV system cannot be started.
When the shift position is N, the EV system cannot start. Shift the shift position to P when starting the EV system.
When operating the power switch, one short, firm press is enough. It is not necessary to press and hold the switch.
If the "READY" indicator turns on, the EV system will operate normally.
Continue depressing the brake pedal until the "READY" indicator is illuminated.
The EV system can be started from any power switch mode.
The vehicle cannot be driven if the "READY" indicator is off.
